This time of year should be filled with love and laughter. It’s
a time of giving, celebrating, and thanksgiving – for most
of us. But the challenges of life overwhelm others so they have
nothing to give – they are barely hanging on.
Each year, Operation Blessing brings joy to the world through the
Holiday of Hope program. For example, children living in impoverished
households receive toys, holiday meals are served to lonely elderly
men and women, and food baskets and presents are given to poor families.
During Holiday of Hope 2004, our partners helped 93,126 lonely people in the
United States, and we plan to help even more this year! As you decide on how much
to spend during the holidays, consider giving a portion to help a less fortunate
mom, dad or child with us this year. Your gift will bring joy to orphans, families,
the handicapped and the elderly here in the US and around the world.
