Marcio Barreto Lourenço

Marcio Lourenço has served with Operation Blessing International Brazil since the outreach center launched in 2004. As Director of Operations, Lourenço oversees various medical outreaches and educational programs, along with addressing many other needs experienced by impoverished Brazilian families and communities.

Lourenço worked in international business in the technology, education and marketing industries before joining OBI. His skills in sales and marketing equipped him for business dealings in Latin America and the United States. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in social communications from Faculdade Hélio Alonso and a Master of Business Administration from IBMEC College (International Business and Management Education Center).

A native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Lourenço has traveled to Chile, Costa Rica, England, Guatemala, Holland and the United States. He enjoys taking trips to the countryside, traveling abroad and exploring foreign cultures and makes his home with his wife and daughter.
