    Felix Oisamoje

    OBI NIGERIA

Felix Oisamoje has worked with Operation Blessing in Nigeria since 1998. He is the regional director for Anglophone, West Africa and oversees humanitarian projects targeting hungry and impoverished natives.

Under Felix’s supervision, OBI runs short-term medical outreaches that provide AIDS screening, cleft lip palate surgery and primary healthcare treatment. More than 86,000 patients have received care since these medical missions were launched in 1999.

In addition, OBI’s equipping programs give widowed and abandoned women marketable skills needed to start small businesses. The Living Waters program drills wells in poor communities, giving the people an unlimited fresh water supply. Through these outreaches, Felix and his team help approximately 5,000 people every month.

Felix’s work experience and education has centered primarily in the areas of theatre arts and television production. Previously, he worked as an instructor, producer and director with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Africa’s largest television network. He also spent a short time in television production at a private, independent station. His extensive knowledge of media and drama qualified him to teach at the University of Abuja for four years while overseeing the Department of Theatre Arts. Felix holds Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from the University of Calabar and a Master of Arts from the University of Ibadan. He is currently a member of the Society of Nigerian Theatre Artists (SONTA) as well as other professional organizations.

Felix lives in Abuja with his wife and their four children. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music, watching soccer, and collecting rare coins.
