    David Darg

    DEPUTY DIRECTOR, INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS

David Darg provides strategic direction and assistance to Operation Blessing's international outreach centers for effective program development. Having been in this current role since 2005, his responsibilities include assisting in implementing all of the logistical aspects of OBI's international projects as well as managing systems for efficient media feedback and capturing in-country media content.

David has been a part of OBI's team since 2001, and began overseeing humanitarian programs for the West African and European region in 2003.

His experiences have included starting a micro-enterprise garden project in Burkina Faso, being the first OBI employee to venture into the ancient city of Timbuktu, Mali on a food distribution and helping war-ravaged villagers in Kosovo.

David was also a television producer and has been involved with the 700 Club in West Africa, Europe and Asia. In addition, David produced both an Albanian and a Bulgarian version of the youth driven series “One Cubed.” His negotiation skills secured national television airtime for programs airing in countries across Europe and East Africa.

David went to Oxford University to study Theology and received a BTh (OXON) in 2001. He also holds a GNVQ (General National Vocational Qualification) in sound engineering from Hereford Technology College.

David currently resides in Senegal and travels throughout the world for OBI.
