Operation Blessing International Sewing Centers
At OBI sewing centers in Africa, Latin America and India, residents are taught how to design and sew clothes, knit sweaters and hand-dye fabrics. In addition to technical skills, students also learn management principles to help develop a successful start-up business and improve their quality of life. In 2007, more than 12,000 people were helped through various microenterprise projects. A gift of $25 toward these centers will continue to help residents overcome poverty and find opportunity for success.
