Operation Blessing International (OBI) is a humanitarian organization dedicated to relieve human suffering. At OBI combats hunger, deprivation and physical affliction with the provision of food, clothing, shelter, medical care and other basic necessities of life. We also help facilitate the development of healthy, vibrant and self-sustaining communities by addressing larger issues of education, food security, potable water, employment, community health, and disaster mitigation projects.

The following positions are currently available:


Donor Relations Coordinator - Virginia Beach, VA

The Donor Relations department has an exciting opportunity for a computer savvy, administrative professional. This position is responsible for supporting, coordinating and enhancing new and existing donor relationships.

The qualified candidate will be a self-starter requiring minimum supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary to excel in this position. Skill in MS Office applications with an emphasis on Word and Excel are also necessary. Experience in ACT database or comparable program is desired.

Administrative Assistant - Dallas, TX
(City Partner – People That Care, International)

We are seeking a detail oriented, administrative professional to work at our city partner, People That Care, International. This is a 30 hour position based in Dallas, TX.

To be successful in this position the qualified candidate will have previous experience with basic accounting functions and a successful history of providing quality administrative support. Excellent organizational skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary. MS Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook are also desired. Verbal and written bilingual (English and Spanish) skills are preferred.

Truck Driver - West Coast

Will transport product to and from assigned pick-up and delivery locations. Ensure safe operation of assigned OB tractor and trailer in compliance with Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations (FMCSR). Truck drivers are needed in various locations.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to plan and execute travel-time that is in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Ability to perform DOT compliant vehicle inspections
  • Working knowledge of DOT 11, 14 and 70 hour drive/work rule
  • Working knowledge of trailer product placement in accordance with Federal Bridge laws
  • Must have a good driving record and current CDL, Class “A”
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
  • Ability to communicate to donor ministries and dispatch in a positive manners

Warehouse Worker - Chesapeake, VA

Will provide effective shipping, receiving and warehousing support to OBI’s East Coast distribution center.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 80+ pounds on a consistent basis
  • Computer literate
  • Work with attention to detail
  • Ability to operate a forklift and related warehouse equipment
